Years have passed peacefully in the American Division for the last two hundred years. There have been no serious deaths, and the deaths that have occurred were easy to cover up. Recently, thins are proving to be harder to control for the society. A Rebellion has formed, bent destroying the society from the ground up by framing murders on innocent people. In this day and age, the penalty for murder is death. There is one trial, and once sentenced, there are no questions asked.
The falsely accused have been a fuel to the flame, causing their family members and loved ones to turn to the rebellion to avenge the deceased’s death. Hybrids are being created, but in secret from the society because they are considered abominations. As progresses, the academy will be involved and students will chose their side.
Two students are framed for murder, Dylan Mazani and Jonathan Locke, causing many issues for the society. But the accusations are false, and the evidence surrounding them are loose. The students must now team up and try to prove their innocence by gathering their own evidence and finding out who really did it.
It isn’t until a teacher is murdered that things finally start to escalate. The murder of Robert Jones brings fear to the parents of the children attending the school and many are brought home while others stay to fight. Along the way, Dylan Mazani fights a battle within herself, between the two men who changed her lives. She also has to hide her status of being a hybrid. Jonathan Locke is an average joe, a popular one, but an average joe to say the least. He is accused because of a lingering break up, with Jordyn Wellish, one of the members of the Rebellion that framed Dylan Mazani and Jonathan Locke.
The accused form an awkward friendship, one that focuses around clearing their names and Dylan’s own addition, to kep her secret safe. The rebelling students within the school are led by a teacher, but by which and when will it come to an end? The principal is nearly killed and Emily Excel is forced to leave to help care for him; which leaves the school open for attack. The remaining students have all ready chosen their sides and for some it will fight til the death. Which side will you fight for?
